Mission and Vision

PFA holds that animals are as entitled to the planet as man. As the in-charge of resources, man has a moral responsibility to be their provider and acknowledge their right to a contented life. Our mission is to practice the same by putting an end to animal exploitation in all walks of life and to ensure that justice is meted out to them. We endorse a culture that promotes empathy, appreciation and respect for every living being on earth. Looking ahead, we see a reformed world, where animals lead a better and dignified life free of hunger, pain and fear; a world devoid of violence and cruelty, where animals can co-exist with mankind in harmony.

To promote non-violent and sustainable life styles.
To preserve wild life in its natural habitat.
To demand animal welfare measures.
To campaign for animal rights and to enforce laws upholding them.
To set up animal hospitals and care centers.
To set up an effective system of managing feral animal population through birth control and rehabilitation.
To find homes for homeless animals.
To rescue performing animals and animals abused by uncontrolled experimentation.
To stop illegal trade in live animals and animal products.
To network with animal causes and organizations worldwide.
To make animal rights education compulsory in schools.
