If there were no birds, monkeys and bats, seeds of many of our fruit trees will not germinate.

If there were no tigers and lions, forests would be cut faster for fuel..

If there were no cattle, donkeys and horses there would be no cooking fuel and transportation for villages..
If there were no birds and frogs, pests in our fields will increase and food will become scarce..

If there were no dogs, cats and snakes, our land will be overrun with rodents and diseases will spread…

If there were no camels, the entire desert life will come to a halt..

If there were no turtles and fish, rivers and oceans will get polluted..

If there were no earth worms, the soil would deteriorate and become infertile..

If there were no bees and butterflies, all plant life would cease..

If there were no crows and vultures, there would be rotting carcasses and waste everywhere..

The quality of our life depends on animals…

When we disregard them and throw them out of balance by killing large numbers of one species and breeding others artificially and exploit them for our small comforts, we are destroying our own lives..

Although 70% of our people directly and all of us indirectly depend on animals, animal welfare and rights are not a priority for the Government. There is no system or infrastructure to manage and take care of our animal companions..no attempts to stop cruelty or to make their life bearable..

We take from animals all they can give and more… and give nothing back.

People for Animals aims to create an India which believes in the old tradition- All for one and one for all. An India which realises that there is a place for each and each has to be saved and nurtured…

Under our Constitution, each animal of our country belongs to each citizen and we are responsible for each of them..but most of all, you are responsible for the suffering animal in your place, your street. You can help it. You can save it. You can make sure that India makes it intact to the next century with all her citizens- animal and human..hopeful for a better life. You can form a part of the magic circle of love around us and our fellow creatures…
