Offer Foster Care

Give a rescued animal a loving home for an interim period. In spite of our facilities, we are much in need of foster homes as:

Animals that reach us include abandoned or lost pets that are used to living in a home. Keeping an animal in an environment familiar to it is ideal for its recovery.
Pets that are not socialized well go through immense physical and emotional trauma when in the presence of other animals at the Rescue Center.
Dogs and cats that are perfectly well behaved to people can turn out to be very aggressive towards their own kind.
Orphaned puppies and kittens get a good head start as pets if they are socialized and house trained in a proper home.
Puppies can be vaccinated only at the age of two months and till then they are highly prone to infections.
Dogs and cats are the natural predators of birds and smaller animals. Hence, it would be very stressful and traumatic for such animals to be at the shelter.
